"Science is metaphysics you can measure, metaphysics is science you can't measure...
or, magic is science you don't understand, and science is magic that you do understand.”

These are the three honorary degrees, recognized by the
state of California, for students of esoteric, psychic, spiritual and paranormal subjects who wish to earn a
certificate through taught classes, or a combination of taught units and an extended project or thesis. These
degrees are given for classes taken in your city, state or country, based on hours of study. Although we do teach
classes in these areas here in Anaheim, CA, we can not expect people to move to take them, nor do we teach them
online. Therefore, students are requested to submit a list of classes they have taken in their area that they
feel qualify (an suggested example list is given below), the number of hours of study involved, and any
certificate or documentation that they may have received.
Metaphysics, very loosely defined, is the branch of philosophy concerned with the nature of ultimate reality. “ Meta-” (above or outside the realm of) “physics” (known physics and science). The study of metaphysics seeks to explain the nature of being, the origin and structure of the world, in relationship between the ethereal and the physical. It allows students to explore transcendental realities in a combination that is intuitive as well as intellectual.
Because the metaphysician or doctor of metaphysics can serve as both a psychological counselor as well as a source of spiritual comfort, he or she espouses universal spirituality through holistic health, the Universal Spiritual Church offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. programs in metaphysics.
Topics may include, but need not be limited to, spirituality and religious studies, esoteric studies, New Age and shamanic studies, parapsychology, transpersonal psychology, personal development and consciousness studies.
